Services / Enterprise Storage
Storage that keeps
up with the hosts.
NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, HPE and Dell EMC arrays over Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NFS: designed for the workloads on them, migrated without outages and checked before they fill up.

Enterprise Storage
What we do
Storage work for mixed estates, independent of any one vendor.
- 01Design and sizingCapacity, IOPS and latency from your real workload data, protocol choice (FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB), zoning, multipathing and a growth plan.
- 02Data migrationsArray-to-array and generation-to-generation moves, including NetApp 7-mode to clustered ONTAP, Storage vMotion and host-based copies, with a cutover plan per volume.
- 03Health checksCapacity trends, snapshot reserve, efficiency, latency hot spots, firmware levels, path redundancy and support contract status.
- 04Snapshots and replicationSnapshot schedules that match recovery needs, SnapMirror and array replication to a second site, wired into the backup design.
- 05Fabric and networkBrocade Fibre Channel zoning, iSCSI VLANs and jumbo frames, NFS export policies, all documented.
- 06Vendor escalationWe handle cases with HPE, Dell, NetApp and Pure, arrive with logs and leave with a fix.

NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA). We do not resell storage, so a design names the array that suits the workload and leaves the purchase to you or your reseller.
How an engagement runs
Five steps, written down
Every engagement follows the same steps, with written plans and a rollback for each change.
- 01AssessUnderstand your goals, environment and challenges.
- 02ArchitectDesign the right solution for your needs.
- 03MigratePlan and execute with minimal disruption.
- 04OptimiseImprove performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
- 05SupportOngoing expertise to keep you secure and ahead.
Deliverables
What you receive
Latency is still physics. Good storage design starts from how the workload reads and writes, not from the datasheet. Every engagement ends with documents and code you own.
- A capacity and performance report with a 12-month forecast
- A design document with zoning and path diagrams
- A migration plan per volume or LUN
- Snapshot and replication schedules tied to recovery targets
- Escalation notes for the vendor, if needed
Experience
Experience behind it
From the founder’s own project history. Clients are described, not named.
- Multi-vendor estatesManaged Pure, Dell EMC and Brocade SAN for a teaching hospital, and HPE StoreVirtual, Dell and Pure arrays for MSP customers.
- From 7-mode to cluster modeYears of NetApp FAS and E-Series work across 7-mode and clustered ONTAP, from installation to upgrades and troubleshooting.
- HPE from the insideThree years supporting HPE servers and storage (3PAR, EVA, MSA, LeftHand, StoreOnce) for an HPE service partner.
FAQ
Questions we hear
Can you work with an array we already own?
Yes. Most of our storage work is on existing arrays: tuning, extending, migrating off them or proving they are healthy enough to keep.
Do you sell storage?
No. We write the specification and can review the quotes you receive. That keeps the recommendation about the workload.
How long does a health check take?
Three to five days for one or two arrays, including a read-out meeting.
A clear first step
Start with the Storage Health Check.
Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before we start. You keep the report whatever you decide.
